Two more days...

Gracious God,

As the Class of 2026 continues its journey, bless these young men with wisdom, courage, and compassion. May they seek truth, serve others generously, and recognize Your presence in all things. Guide them in their studies, friendships, and decisions, and help them grow into leaders who live for the greater glory of God.

Amen.

A huge thank you to Mr. Ken Benway, our Director of Plant Operations, for going above and beyond to care for our campus β€” including its lovable wildlife residents! After discovering a lost fawn on campus, Mr. Benway helped safely guide it back to its family. We are grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication he shows every day to keeping our campus beautiful, safe, and welcoming for all who call it home.

This Memorial Day, we pause in gratitude and prayer as we remember the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

In the Jesuit tradition, we are called to be people for and with others β€” to honor the dignity of every person and to live lives rooted in faith, justice, and acts of service. Today, we especially remember those whose sacrifice reflected that profound commitment to the common good.

We invite you to join us in prayer for all members of our military, veterans, and their families.

Blessed are you, Lord God,
Whose love invites and sanctifies our own loving surrender of self.
Your Son teaches that there is no greater love than to lay down our life for our friends.

As we recall and remember those who gave their lives for us,
For our communities,
For our nations,
We invoke your blessings upon them.

May they find eternal life with you.
And may their sacrifices be united to the sacrifice of your Son,
That they may share in His Paschal Victory.
And may we all find inspiration in your Spirit to give ourselves completely in love.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

-Rev. Nathaniel Romano, S.J.
