We are thrilled to announce that Stephanie Al Otaiba, Ph.D., will deliver the 2026 Norman Geschwind Memorial Lecture at ! 🌟

Dr. Al Otaiba is the Centennial Chair in Teaching and Learning at SMU, with a distinguished career dedicated to early literacy interventions for English language learners and students with or at risk for disabilities, including dyslexia.

The Norman Geschwind Lecture is awarded to extraordinary communicators who can bridge the gap between complex research and real-world practice, appealing to educators, professionals and families alike.
