We did it again! We're to announce that TU has been named the #1 Public University in Maryland by Washington Monthly for the second year in a row. Other rankings include #36 public university in the nation and #7 public university in the Northeast. It's a great day to be a Tiger! 🐯 https://bit.ly/4cTILvw

Give a warm Tiger TUesday welcome to our new TU Alumni Association president, Courtney Cox England '12, '14. She has been a member of the board since 2019, serving as vice president since 2021.

As a student, this two-time Tiger was a senator in the Student Government Association, as well as president of the Latin American Student Organization. For more than five years, she worked at Towson University in Admissions, where she started our beloved "From One Tiger to Another" alumni postcard program.

Now England is a human resources business partner at Stanley Black & Decker (where black and gold continue to be her preferred colors). She recently got married and packed her t-shirt for the honeymoon in Italy over the summer. We are thrilled to have her at the helm as our next president.

Looking for meaningful ways to give back this fall? Here are a few upcoming volunteer opportunities.

The Cockeysville Fall Festival is looking for volunteers to help with 2-hour shifts throughout their event September 12 between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The festival benefits the Cool Kids Campaign in Towson.

On October 3, the Alumni Relations office is hosting an alumni service project at First Fruits Farm in Freeland, harvesting late-season crops from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m.

Learn more about both events, including individual shift information for the festival, using the link in comments.
