This gathering is for couples who have been married 5 years or less and is a great opportunity to connect with other young couples, enjoy time together, and build meaningful community.

Another rainy Sunday, but such a beautiful morning of worship at LifeHouse!

This week, we had the joy of welcoming our African Connection Choir as we lifted our voices together in praise! From Alleluia and I Speak Jesus to God, You're So Good, Jesus at the Center, and All Hail King Jesus, what a wonderful reminder of who we gather to worship each week.

Rain or shine, there's something special about Sundays spent together as a church family!

October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by helping you get to know the pastors who faithfully lead, teach, encourage, pray for, and serve our LifeHouse family.

We’re starting with our Lead Pastor, Pastor Mark Lashey!

For nearly 15 years, Pastor Mark has had the privilege of serving as Lead Pastor of LifeHouse—but the LifeHouse story started a little closer to home. Literally.

In the fall of 2010, Pastor Mark and his wife, Tammy, opened their home for a weekly Bible study with about 15 people and a prayer and vision to plant a church. Over the next year, that group grew to more than 100 people, and in February 2012, LifeHouse held its first Sunday morning worship service.

In 2016, LifeHouse took another big step of faith with the purchase of the land that would one day become our church home. Four years later, in August 2020, our church family moved into the building we now call home!

Through every season of that story, the heart of Pastor Mark’s ministry has remained the same: to faithfully preach God’s Word, shepherd His people, make disciples, and point people to the hope found in Jesus.

Pastor Mark and Tammy have been married for 29 years and have three children—Abby, Hudson, and Sophie—two grandchildren, Elliot and Sutton, and another grandbaby on the way! When he’s not at LifeHouse, you’ll probably find him outside working around Fig Tree Farm, the property he and Tammy call home, enjoying God’s creation, exercising, or reaching for Haribo gummy bears and dark chocolate.

Pastor Mark, thank you for faithfully following God’s call, for your commitment to His Word, and for the many years you have spent loving and leading our LifeHouse family. We are so grateful for you!
