Community Mission Alliance was grateful to partner in another incredible outreach event! By providing the resources and tools needed, we’re able to equip amazing volunteers to serve others and make a real difference in our community.

A big shoutout to True Life for putting faith into action and meeting practical needs with compassion and love. Thank you to everyone who gave their time and hearts to serve. We love seeing what can happen when organizations come together for a common purpose!

Today, CMA recognizes the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose call to serve others and strengthen communities continues to inspire us.

So happy to help fill a need when we see one. Working with partners like this is center to our mission.

On Thursday, Our Daily Bread gave out turkeys and bags of sides to make a holiday dinner. We gave out 150 dinners and fixings to our guests and also delivered 20 dinners and fixings to The Louis L Redding Middle School and 20 to the Neighborhood House. Because of all the generous donations and food drives our community has provided ODB in the past month, our volunteers were able to use pantry items to make up the bags of sides. Our thanks to Giant for donating some of the turkeys and to the Lifehouse Church for providing us with funding to buy 50 turkeys. And a big thank you to all our volunteers who packed the side bags and came out on Thursday morning to stage the bags and turkeys, greet our guests and hand out the dinners as they drove or walked up, and then put everything away. Finally, to our Executive Director Brian and long-time volunteer Tom Garone for taking what we didn't distribute to the Redding Middle School and the Neighborhood House to provide some holiday joy to their clients.
