This is a favorite camping spot for our troop in the fall!

Friday the 13th isn’t just a spooky date on the calendar. It’s also a piece of film history.

The classic horror movie Friday the 13th was filmed at a real place: Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco, a Scout camp tucked into the woods of New Jersey’s Kittatinny Mountains.

The lake. The cabins. Even the shoreline where Jason first appears in that unforgettable final scene are still there.

Today, fans can actually visit the camp during special tours. Former campers bring out original-style props and guide visitors through the exact filming locations that turned a quiet summer camp into the legendary Camp Crystal Lake.

During our Scout Sunday worship, Troop 351 presented our congregation with a beautiful plaque recognizing Scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

We are honored to display it and look forward to adding more names in the years to come. Congratulations to these Scouts for their dedication, leadership, and service!

Out of an abundance of care for our congregation and in accordance with the recommendation of our District Superintendent, we will not be holding in-person worship on Sunday, January 25 due to the forecasted inclement weather. Pastor Johnson will provide a virtual message on Sunday instead.
