On Sunday, we had our 5th Grade Blessing! We heard about how God is at work in the Kids Ministry and got to celebrate the discipleship milestone of 14 kiddos graduating out of Kids Min and heading into youth group.

“Simply put, God’s Law, though it’s good, isn’t good news for us, because we fail to keep it. God’s Law is good, but WE are not. We’re sinful. So we deserve to be cursed.

But the good news, the gospel, is that Christ redeemed us from our curse by becoming a curse for us on the cross; he died in our place to pay the penalty of our sin, and offer us forgiveness and freedom instead… for all who would simply believe, put their faith in Jesus.”
