Trash Mountain Project

Trash Mountain Project Trash Mountain Project exists to develop Christ-centered environments for children and families living in trash dump communities worldwide.

Each day thousands of people make their livelihoods picking through trash in unsafe, unsanitary and dangerous conditions. The worst part is, thousands of children work in these conditions. Throughout the past 11 years we have partnered with incredible local leaders and have begun to see long-term changes take effect.

We just want to say thank you. 🙏

Your support means more than you probably realize. Because of your generosity, children and families in trash dump communities are being cared for, encouraged, fed, educated, and reminded that they are seen and loved.

Thank you for being part of what God is doing through Trash Mountain Project.

No child should grow up in a place like this. Yet for many children around the world, the trash dump is where they find themselves.

At Trash Mountain Project, we believe every child is created with dignity, value, and purpose. Through education, care, and hope, we’re working to help rewrite stories like his.

We are about showing up in some of the hardest places in the world and building real relationships that lead to lasting change. It’s not just about meeting needs, but walking alongside families and communities so they are seen, supported, and cared for.

Thank YOU for your support!

He is risen, and because He lives, there is hope!

This Easter, we’re reminded that no place is too far gone. Not even the in the landfills around the world.

Because of Jesus, stories are being rewritten. Lives are being restored.

Hope is rising 🤍

Education has the power to change a child’s future, but it is even stronger when families are part of the journey. Our programs are built to support children in their learning while walking alongside families, helping create opportunity, break patterns, and build lasting hope.

The heart of Trash Mountain Project has always been people. While the environments we serve in are difficult, what stands out most is not the hardship. It is the resilience, the strength of families, and the joy of children who continue to smile, learn, and grow.

Through trusted local partners, we support programs that create safe spaces for kids to experience education, mentorship, and community. These moments of joy are not small. They are evidence that hope is taking root.

When we invest in children, we are investing in the future of entire communities. That is the foundation of our work. Not just meeting immediate needs, but walking alongside leaders who are building lasting change from within.

Working in the trash dump is not only dangerous, it is exhausting.

This is not work reserved for one gender or one type of person. It is families doing whatever they can to survive. Moms, dads, kids and teenagers show up each day trying to provide something for the people they love.

At some of our partner locations, food distribution takes place right on the landfill. It offers temporary relief, but it also creates connection. It is an opportunity to learn names, listen to stories, and begin building trust.

Relief may meet an immediate need.
Relationship is what begins to change the story.

We’re constantly humbled by the leaders rising up in our dump communities. 💛

These men and women aren’t just showing up, they’re stepping forward, serving faithfully, and leading others with courage, compassion, and integrity.

What you’re seeing here is real transformation on the ground, made possible through partnership, trust, and a shared vision for hope and dignity. Our leaders in the Philippines are building something that lasts, not from the top down, but from within their own communities.
