A new funding opportunity through the Kansas Fights Addiction (KFA) grant program that is designed to increase the number of peer recovery specialists and community health workers that provide services for individuals with a substance use disorder (SUD) is now open.
The KFA Grant Review Board has allocated $4,050,000 to support programs that provide PRSS, such as outreach, navigation, and support services to individuals with an SUD, particularly those who face barriers to accessing care, wraparound support, and community resources.
