When that C-word hits home, it truly hits differently. In my family, my cousins grew up like siblings. Two weeks ago, I learned that my cousin Jacqueline had been diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer, and for a moment, I was speechless.
Since my dad’s experience with cancer, supporting those facing this disease has held a special place in my heart. Hearing Jacqueline’s diagnosis brought those emotions close again. But I gathered myself, knowing that what matters most right now is being present for her with love, encouragement, and support.
Please keep Jacqueline in your prayers as her journey toward remission begins. She is facing this battle with strength and faith, already focused on how her testimony can help someone else.
