LAIs make it easier to know when someone has missed a dose. That early awareness means providers can respond quickly, offer support, and help prevent relapse before it starts. Consistent treatment builds stronger recovery.

LAIs are long‑acting medication injections that release slowly over time, providing consistent treatment and helping prevent relapse.
