⚖️ Thank You to Our Family Law Brief Advice Clinic Volunteers!

Yesterday, the Toledo Bar Association Pro Bono Program partnered with the 🚌 Ohio Justice Bus and Legal Aid of Western Ohio (LAWO) provide family law assistance at Sanger Branch Library.

💙 The clinic served 6 clients who completed applications, with 2 additional individuals receiving legal information!

⚖️ FREE Family Law Brief Advice Clinic

🕛 12 - 3 PM
📍 Sanger Branch Library, 3030 W. Central Ave., Toledo

Volunteer attorneys will provide brief legal advice on Ohio family law matters.

Walk-ins welcome as time allows. Pre-registration is encouraged and gets preference. 30-minute appointments available.

Bring relevant court documents. Participants cannot currently have an attorney representing them on the issue. Brief advice only, no further representation.

You can make a real difference in the life of a first-generation law student or new attorney.

The Toledo Bar Association’s FirstGen Lawyers Project is looking for attorneys to serve as mentors and help the next generation of attorneys build connections, gain career insight and find their place in the Toledo legal community.

🤝 As a mentor, you’ll:
• Meet once a month for coffee, lunch or conversation
• Share your experiences and career advice
• Help a first-generation law student or new attorney build their professional network

TBA Pro Bono Program: Pro Se Divorce Clinic

Volunteer attorneys help pre-registered, pre-screened clients complete the paperwork needed to file for divorce in Lucas County. Clients represent themselves with guidance and assistance throughout the process.

CLIENT ELIGIBILITY:
• Lucas County resident
• No minor children of the marriage (unless Juvenile Court is involved)
• No real estate
• No property division
• No spousal support
