Hey everybody. Yep, we are re-starting Reel Issues next Tuesday, May 5 with the great movie Good Will Hunting, starring the late great Robin Williams and Matt Damon. The film raises a variety of issues that should stimulate great conversation among those who attend. PLEASE NOTE: this movie is rated R due to a lot of adult language.

For those who may not be familiar with Reel Issues, we use the dynamic shared experience of film to stimulate meaningful discussion of contemporary issues of all kinds. LifeLine has offered the Reel Issues series in this format off and on for more than a decade. There are also movie theater-style concessions to enjoy throughout the evening. There is no charge to attend Reel Issues, although donations to help defray expenses are welcome.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be a great night next Tuesday. RSVP's are helpful so that we can plan, but not required.

🌨️ Winter Punched Us in the Face This Year! ❄️

Hey LifeLine Community!

This winter has really thrown us a curveball! As a result, we’ve made the tough decision to pause our Community Dinners until we can find a suitable location to host it again.

We know this is disappointing, we’re actively searching for a new space where we can gather, share meals, and enjoy each other’s company once more.

Thank you for your understanding and support! We can’t wait to bring this long time tradition back as soon as possible. Stay tuned for updates!

Hello all who follow LifeLine Toledo and the iconic LifeLine Community Dinner, home of the longest-running open mic in our region: the August 2024 LifeLine Community Dinner HAS BEEN CANCELED. This is due to an unforeseen convergence of multiple large projects that both require our intense attention and work AND reduce our facility incapacity. We are not able to overcome this in this instance. Our sincere apologies.

Please keep an eye out for the event post and special guest announcements for the 17th ANNIVERSARY EDITION OF THE LIFELINE COMMUNITY DINNER AND OPEN MIC, to be held on Saturday, September 7 at 438 Floyd St. We hope to see you there!
