At YMCA Camp Eberhart, children learn that they they can make a positive difference in the world. YMCA Camp Eberhart is a values-oriented experience -- teaching children life-long skills like sharing, cooperation, commitment, tolerance and respect for others.

We are SO PROUD of our 2026 Camp Team! Through our annual t-shirt auction last night, they raised an amazing $3,315 for Project 132 Scholarships!

Project 132 is our commitment to bring 132 children to camp who could not have the chance to do so without our financial assistance. For families that are low income or going through a financial hardship, this program ensures that all children can have their summer dreams come true with a week of character-building, skill development, and stress-free fun at YMCA Camp Eberhart. Donating $900 to Project 132 brings one more kid to camp. Whatever you can give will help!

Every summer we kick off the Project with a staff t-shirt auction where current camp staff holds a runway show and auction of older and treasured camp shirts along with an assortment of silly shirts for bidding.

Yesterday was a special day at YMCA Camp Eberhart as we celebrated not one, but two meaningful ribbon cuttings!

We were honored to unveil the newly named Murphy Family Cabins, recognizing a family whose legacy is deeply woven into the history of Camp Eberhart. Thanks to the incredible generosity of Carmi, Chris, and the entire Murphy family, two of our beautifully renovated stone cabins are ready to welcome campers and families for generations to come.

We also celebrated the transformation of the Hickory Limb Bath House, a waterfront landmark that has served campers since 1960. This renovation preserves an important piece of camp history while ensuring the space can continue serving campers, staff, and families for years to come.

These projects are a testament to what can happen when a community comes together to invest in the future of camp. Thank you to all of the donors who made these renovations possible, to Ancon Construction for their outstanding craftsmanship and commitment to preserving the character of these historic buildings, to everyone who joined us to celebrate, and to our dedicated Camp Eberhart staff who keep the magic of camp alive every day.

Thanks to their incredible generosity, two of our newly renovated stone cabins are almost ready to welcome campers and families for years to come. We are honored to unveil the new “Murphy Family Cabins." A lasting tribute to a family whose legacy is deeply woven into the history of Camp.
