TONIGHT (Jan. 20) from 7-9:30pm at The Huss Project: In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we're hosting Becoming the Beloved Community 2025: Eyes on the Prize Screening.

We'll watch two episodes of the acclaimed documentary series and have some time for discussion in between. The first episode, "The Promised Land (1967-1968)," covers the last year of Dr. King's life. The second, "A Nation of Law? (1968-1971)," looks at how the movement continued after Dr. King's assassination—with particular focus on Fred Hampton in Chicago and the inmate uprising at Attica. Click the event link above for more information.

We hope you'll join us!

Goodbye, beautiful community house! It was a gift to care for this place for a while and we’re thankful for all who played a part in its restoration and filled it with life. We wish Jason and Naomi all the best as they imagine what’s possible here next!

With a good deal of sadness, the *cino community has decided to sell our Community House on North Main St. It has been a wonderful hub for community celebrations and for experiential learning for our core community and for the many AmeriCorps VISTAs who have lived there during the five years we've owned it.

But during those years, more and more of our organization's energy has been pulled in the direction of The Huss Project and the campus that has been organically growing there. While we have loved this house, we know we need to tend to our work in Second Ward. It's time to let someone else take the baton in stewarding this beautiful, historic home in the heart of our city.

If you are interested or have any questions, please reach out to us or to our real estate agent. Thank you!
