Mark your calendars! The Latvia Owners Association (LOA) Annual Meeting is happening on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Pavilion — and we want to see YOU there!

This is your chance to get updates, vote on key issues, connect with neighbors, and help shape the future of our community. 🗳️✨

✅ Haven’t paid your 2025 dues yet? It’s just $30 per lot owned to maintain voting rights. Bring a check or mail it to our Treasurer, Jami Holderbaum (Contact the LOA board for her Address)

📬 Can’t make it? No worries — you can vote by proxy if your dues are paid in advance.

🎉 LOA SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY! 🎉
📅 THIS SATURDAY | May 3, 2025
🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
🏖️ Location: Lake Access Area & Pavillion

🌟 Important Event Details:
9:00 AM: MANDATORY Lake Access Group Meeting
➡️ For ALL dock users & anyone who plans to use lake access this season!

PARKING:
🚗 DO NOT drive down to the access.
🅿️ Park along Lucas/Day or at the camp (if permitted).

WHAT TO BRING:
🧤 Yard Tools! (Leaf blowers, w**d eaters, rakes, shovels, etc.)

🛠️ CLEAN-UP PROJECTS:

🌳 Lake Access:
Trim trees 🌿
Level ground 🔨
(Maybe even get the docks in... IF we crush our goals!--- If we are not able to get them in- We will discuss when everyone is available to help)

🏕️ Pavilion Area: Depending on how many people show up we will try to divide the teams up to get as much done possible- However there will not be a board member present to provide guidance on what needs to be completed at the Pavilion--- If you see something that needs done---Get it done!

Burn/remove leaves & branches

Summer is Almost Here—Let’s Kick It Off Together! 🌞

The LOA Board has been busy planning an exciting season ahead, and we can’t wait to celebrate summer with all of you! Mark your calendars and join us for the lineup of events that bring our community together and help us make the most of our beautiful lake and other shared spaces.

📅 Upcoming Events:

🔹 Neighborhood Clean-Up 🧹🌿
Join your neighbors as we come together for our annual property maintenance day! Let’s get our shared spaces ready for summer—bring your gloves, rakes, trimmers, and mowers. Many hands make light work, and we appreciate everyone pitching in!

🔹 Lake & Dock Meeting 🚤⚓
If you plan to dock this season, this meeting is mandatory. We’ll review lake access rules, dock assignments, space measurements, and key maintenance items to ensure a smooth season for everyone. With the addition of a new dock, all available spaces for this season are planned to be filled. If you have any questions about your docking status or need clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out to a board member—we’re happy to help!

Our LOA Annual Meeting is an essential time to connect, discuss community finances, vote on board members, and review potential property updates. We had a fantastic turnout last year—let’s make this one even better!

A favorite tradition we’re excited to continue! The LOA Board will provide the main dish, and we invite everyone to bring a side to share. Enjoy games, great food, and a chance to meet new neighbors. Let’s make this year’s BBQ as memorable as 2024!

Hello, neighbors. All of our dock spaces are currently spoken for, for the 2024 summer season. Unless something changes, we are no longer accepting applications or payments for docking fees.

If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, we are happy to take your information. There may also be space for another dock, if one is purchased. You will need to discuss the space for another dock with a current board member so that we can ensure proper spacing for boat access.

Summer is quickly approaching. ☀️🌊

Attention Boat Owners - Docking Fee and signed Boat Owner Agreements are DUE on April 1st. Payments can be hand delivered to any active board member or dropped in the mailbox at 10833 Vidzeme Rd. Updated forms can be found on our website by selecting the "Become A Member" button. Digitally signed forms can be emailed to [email protected].

$30 (per lot owned)
$200 docking fee (Fees apply to those who intend on placing a private dock at the shared association access as well as those who plan to have a boat docked at the shared access)

As you may have noticed, we have several new neighbors this year. That means we have some rearranging and planning to do. We need an accurate count by April 1st to make the necessary accommodations. We will be sending out an invitation to dock planning and getting the docks into the water. Please come out and help if you are able. Everyone is welcome and your input is valued.

GATE UPDATE:
We have fixed the gate going down to the lake access. This gate should remain closed at all times, unless you are entering or exiting the property. This and signage (both on the property and at the gate) have been added for insurance reasons, so we need to make sure they are as visible as possible at all times.

SAVE THE DATE:
The Annual Membership Meeting will take place on Saturday, June 1st at noon. We will be discussing membership fees, changes to the constitution, insurance, election of new board members and other important issues. Your votes matter. We hope to see you there.
