Ever wanted to learn how to write beautifully and quickly? Want to leave your unique mark? Join Miss Laura on Wednesday, July 31, at 5:30pm and learn the basics of writing cursive and make a craft using your own creative handwriting!

Open to tweens and teens ages 10+. Registration is requested, but not required.

Celebrate a great summer full of reading and adventure during the Summer Reading Wrap-Up Party on Saturday, August 3 , 10am to 1pm!

Come and paint a flower pot, tie dye a bandana, play games, make bracelets, and more at the library!

This is the last day to claim your summer reading prizes and enter into the prize drawings, so be sure to bring your reading logs.

Ready your soon to be Kindergartener with Webster Memorial's series of "enhanced" story time sessions, each session will focus on different readiness practices, many that have been identified by our local kindergarten teachers. Attending each session isn't required, but strongly encouraged. Registration is requested, do so today by calling 423-4771 or visiting vbdl.org/events and clicking on the program you wish to attend.

Ready your soon-to-be Kindergartener for the 2024-25 school year with a series of "enhanced" story time sessions that will focus on readiness practices and hands on learning identified by our local Kindergarten teachers. It's Story Time at the Webster Memorial Branch Library Lawn! Weather permitting, meet us outside the library for the final Story Time of the summer! Bring a blanket or a chair and be ready for some summer reading fun!

The book sale begins at noon on Thursday, August 1 and runs through Saturday, August 3.

Have a great week, and look to the weekend with the big book sale at VBDL Webster Memorial Branch. I'll be working it for a bit Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Come sign up for Friends of VBD Library, Decatur MI because we need people to help keep our great library going. There has been SO much there for children and adults to take part in, and I am happy to be part of Friends.

Webster Memorial Library is feeling all the fall feels and we want to celebrate! Join us for a week of fall themed fun beginning on Tuesday, October 11 leading up to our Fall Festival on Saturday, October 15. Join us for a special Saturday story time, enter into our Crock Pot Cook Off or sign up as a team of two for our Co****le Tournament.
