Thank you so much for sharing our mission! Every bit helps to make a difference!
I wanted to take a moment to share a mission that has really touched my heart.
It’s a non-profit called Little Heroes, and they are doing something so simple yet so profound for children in our community.
When a child is going through a massive life transition, moving into a foster home or a shelter, they are often carrying so much more than just their belongings.
They are carrying uncertainty, fear, and a lot of brave faces.
Little Heroes steps in to make sure those children don’t just "get by," but feel truly seen.
They provide beautiful, color-coordinated backpacks filled with everything a "little hero" needs to feel safe and special:
• Comfort items like a soft throw blanket and a stuffed animal to hug.
• Creative outlets like tablets, coloring books, and crayons.
• The essentials like a water bottle, fresh socks, and a toothbrush.
I think we often forget how much power a "small" thing holds when your whole world feels big and out of control.
I stand behind Little Heroes because they understand that for a child in transition, a backpack isn't just a bag, it’s a boundary.
It’s a safe space.
It’s a piece of the world that belongs only to them, at a time when they are sharing everything else with strangers.
In a world that can be so loud and confusing for these kids, this mission provides a moment of quiet, tangible love.
It’s about giving them a shot to start their next chapter with their head held high,
carrying a bag that represents their future,
not their past.
That is a mission worth every bit of our support.
I’m so inspired by the way this organization pours love into every bag.
They are currently packing for deliveries in St. Joseph County, and I’d love for our community to help them keep that momentum going.❤️
