Thetford Volunteer Fire Department TVFD is entirely volunteer and is staffed by about 20 dedicated members who will respond to emergencies whenever needed. Thank you.

Thetford Fire Department and multiple area fire departments are currently operating at a large structure fire and brush fire in the area of 7386 Route 113 in Post Mills.
Please avoid the area.

Emergency Services are currently responding to numerous trees and wires down throughout the community as a result of the recent storm.

Please stay away from any downed trees and wires. Assume all wires are live and dangerous until the power company can arrive and de‑energize them. Please do not drive around or remove road closed signs.

Please report trees and wires down to 911.

Please monitor the weather today through local channels, your local weather app etc and remain vigilant for changing weather conditions. Please do not move road closed signs/cones or approach/drive over downed power lines if you encounter them.
