Dear Followers ,
you all probably wondering why I have not been active on this page in such a long time, Well here's whats been going on I had a personal crisis happen (which I don't want to discuss any further because that's the past this is the present) then on top of that covid hit and my duties as a nurse took precedence over my rescue I could no longer put the time and effort into raising funds or getting help of any kind physically or financially. To do a great job is you have to give it 100% mentally,Financially,physically most of all lots of time and none I was able to do so I no longer took anymore animals (remind you this was not easy I felt I gave up on them and myself it was a very difficult time for me )The remainder of animals I had I supported and some have passed on leaving me now with one cat,two horses ,2 goats . I no longer took funds or donations and let my 501C3 lapse and terminate . I have no regrets because its very hard to maintain a rescue unless you have and army and community support which in my eyes none I got (they didn't see my vision most people think you try to profit in a rescue I can say you say in the deficit)So that being said I will focus on more towards the laws, community funding for those who want to make changes for animal rescues ,For cruelty for animals, petition for more laws and ordinance for how many animals you are to have in order to be licensed ,qualifications to be a rescue , to be a resource ,to do public speaking so people understand the laws and why we should put these laws in place ,stricter laws on exotic animal in a private setting how this can effect and animal and community , to be an advocate for animals in vermont ,To help rescues during a crisis . please let me know your thoughts and ideas thank you all for your support (please keep negative thoughts to self and follow community guidelines this is a resource and guide to help rescues, to aide in abuse against of animals )
