Hi, I’m Karen!

I’m a wife, proud mom of three, entrepreneur, and professional photographer with over five years of experience capturing meaningful moments and creating timeless visual stories. Alongside my husband, I co-own Castle Media Company, where we’ve had the privilege of serving families, businesses, and communities through high-quality photography and creative media.

My background is in Foreign Languages and education, having previously worked as both a college instructor and school teacher. That experience shaped my ability to connect with people from all walks of life and bring professionalism, patience, and purpose into every interaction and project.

I’m a Christ follower who believes every person has a story worth preserving and celebrating. Originally from Colombia, I moved to the United States and have since built both a growing business and a life centered around faith, family, creativity, and service.

I’m excited to be part of this event and look forward to meeting you and creating an unforgettable experience!

Originally from France, Kamela Scarbeck moved to Texas in 2012 and built her life from the ground up—self-funding her education while launching her own business. That experience shaped her ability to think differently about money, risk, and long-term wealth.

Today, Kamela is a Wealth Strategist and Educator known for her nontraditional approach to financial planning. She works predominantly with women- families and business owners who have built wealth but want more clarity, control, and efficiency in how their wealth is structured.

Her focus goes beyond accumulation—prioritizing tax strategy, protection from market volatility, and maximizing long-term spendable income. By addressing the hidden inefficiencies in the financial industry, Kamela helps her clients make more intentional, strategic financial decisions.

Her philosophy is simple: it’s not just about how much you make—it’s about how much you keep, how you can access it, and how long it lasts.
