Ovarian and below the belt cancers have No Face until it's you or Someone you love!

Seeing friends and family with limted income being turned down by the state for medical assistance, watching my sister-in-law not being able to afford her medication because her insurance max out, is the sole reason The Leatherwood Foundation was founded.
Angie Contreras was having to pay out of pocket just to see her Dr's, she had no insurance (chemo was free through Baylor) she was unable to work due to so much pain from her o.c. cancer which had spread into her spine.

We want to help cover and close those gaps which makes donations critical!
We can't pay for everything but we will do our very best to assist when financially able.

And unfortunately sometimes the very thing we are helping with is thier funeral expenses because thats the nature of gynecologic cancer.

They are the reason we are here.

It is my hope that by this time next year, the Foundation will be functioning as envisioned, with Jessica King, our new C.O.O., at the lead and I will be working on with her on various projects, but she will be leading. Our immediate priority is to create a strong foundation that can effectively support God's sick children. The progress we've made with starting Finn's Friends, the Terrell Nursing Scholarship grant, and our assistance programs is encouraging. With Jessica King and now Autumn Elizabeth Wagner on board, I am confident in the Foundation's potential for expansion and impact. Jessica King Autumn Elizabeth Wagner
