Forney, Crandall, Kaufman, and Terrell residents came together today. Each month, adults and high school students from across Kaufman County Texas say yes to volunteering, learning, and building one community together.

Today, José, one of our high school volunteers, gives us a small glimpse into our citizenship classes and reminds us of something beautifully simple: “We come together to learn.”

That is exactly what happens when a college opens its doors to its community.

We are incredibly grateful to Trinity Valley Community College & Trinity Valley Community College Adult & Continuing Education for creating a space where lifelong learning, service, and community come together. Different generations learn side by side, high school students volunteer their time, and neighbors help neighbors reach new goals.

Thank you, TVCC, for opening your doors and showing us what education and community can look like when we all come together.
