500 Gifts of Warmth
This Christmas, Josiah’s Compassion Project has a goal of providing warmth and love to 500 people experiencing homelessness in our community.
We are collecting 500 blankets, 500 winter hats, 500 pairs of gloves, and 500 pairs of warm socks, along with donations toward gift cards.

Josiah dreamed of helping people experiencing homelessness. He wanted to feed them, clothe them, and one day build a village of tiny homes where they could have a place to call their own. This Christmas, we’re carrying that compassion forward in his honor.

Help us be the hands and feet of Jesus—one person, one gift, and one act of compassion at a time.

Exciting news! I just received the email stating we are now a legal non-profit business! We're officially Josiah's Compassion Project, Inc. To God be the glory 🙌

We are also collecting winter and hygiene items for this outreach! If you have any gently used coats, hats, boots or gloves that you're willing to part with, please comment or send a message and we can arrange for pickup!

We are collecting winter coats, hats, boots and gloves for those in need. If you would like to donate, please DM us and we will set up a time for pick up. We are also still collecting hygiene items.

Our next Outreach event will take place on 9/12 at Gilbert Park starting at noon. Come join us in helping those in need 💙

We have 2 more feed the needy days with GFM coming up. One in September and one in October. We are collecting hygiene items, coats, backpacks, gloves, stocking caps and socks for these events. Also we will be starting our Christmas for the homeless drive in October as well. I don't have any official dates yet but if you would like to stock up we will be collecting fleece throw blankets, stocking caps, gloves and wool socks. The goal for Christmas is to get gift bags with one or two of those items we collect with some candy and a $5 gift card to a gas station or McDonald's, some place they can go and get a coffee and get warm. The gifts will be distributed at the warming centers ❤️

We like to help out GFM to help feed those in need. So we are always accepting hygiene items to have available at these events! Items needed include but not limited to: feminine hygiene products, deodorant, bug spray, bar soap, body wipes, hair ties, dry shampoo, just to name a few. Just send a message and we can arrange pickup for the donations!

Come help us be the hands and feet of Jesus by serving those less fortunate in our community next Saturday Aug 15th at Gilbert Park starting at noon. Serving hotdogs.. cookies.. fruit.. water.. prayer and a whole lot of Jesus 🤗
