Golf for COPS and the McDavid Group Charities are honored to welcome LOCASH to the Golf for COPS family!

Preston Brust and Chris Lucas, the platinum-selling country duo behind “I Love This Life” and “Hometown Home,” will be joining us this December for a special live performance! Together, we’ll share in an evening celebration, remembrance, and action, all while honoring fallen law enforcement officers and supporting the families who carry their legacy forward.

The heart of Golf for COPS has always been and remains the individuals, businesses, and partners who continue to show up for these families, year after year. We are grateful to LOCASH for joining us in that commitment, and helping make this year’s Homecoming for Hope even more meaningful.

Our work is rooted in a commitment to stand beside the law enforcement community, honoring both those we have lost and the families who carry their legacy forward.

That commitment continues in Rochester, New York, where The McDavid Group Charities is honored to provide 200 LifeVac anti-choking rescue devices to law enforcement agencies throughout Monroe County. Made possible by LifeVac’s generous contribution to our inaugural event at Oak Hill Country Club, these devices give officers an additional resource to help protect those they serve.

We are deeply grateful to LifeVac, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, and our community partners for helping make this possible. To everyone who welcomed Golf for COPS to Rochester, thank you for sharing in our mission, providing us the opportunity to give back, and we look forward to continuing our work together for years to come.

25 years ago, our nation was faced with the single largest act of terror our country has ever known. The lives of 2,977 men, women, and children were taken in a matter of moments, across a scene that resembled only our darkest fears.

As many of us, still attempting to comprehend what we had seen, struggled with what should be done next, it was the countless first responders, police officers, and firefighters who sprinted into the unknown, risking everything for the chance to bring even one additional person to safety. In the days, weeks, and months that followed, it was these individuals who proved to us that the values which founded our nation were still ever-present as we rebuilt, lending hands to those in need, treating strangers as though they were family, and banding together to process, help, and overcome.

To all those we lost that morning. To all those who gave of themselves completely. To all those who have and will always run towards the danger.

We will never forget.

Today, we celebrate those who strengthen our communities through their dedication, courage, and commitment to service. Among these individuals are the men and women of law enforcement, whose calling requires a responsibility and sacrifice carried not only by those who wear the badge, but by the families who stand beside them.

Registration is officially open for the Eleventh Annual Golf for COPS Celebrity Pro-Am & Gala, returning to Trump National Golf Club Jupiter on December 6th & 7th, 2026.

In 2016, Golf for COPS began with a promise: that the children and spouses of fallen law enforcement officers would be supported, their futures protected, and the sacrifice of their heroes never forgotten. In the years since, that promise has grown into a community, carried forward by every family who has shared their story, every golfer who has stepped onto the course, every guest who has gathered with us, and every sponsor, volunteer, and supporter who has chosen to stand beside those facing life’s most difficult hours.

As we look back, we see far more than a history of tournaments and galas. We see scholarships awarded, families embraced, lives changed, and a mission strengthened by the compassion of thousands of people who believe that remembrance must be accompanied by action.

Now, we look forward to the next chapter.

Earlier this year, more than 40 law enforcement officers from Jupiter, Tequesta, and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office gathered with us for our second annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Breakfast.

Among those who joined us was longtime Golf for COPS partner Vince Papale, who reminded the room that the impact we make today changes the lives of those around us. Along with that impact, his words revolved around the responsibility we all share: to recognize the sacrifice made by those who serve, to care for the families who bear its greatest cost, and to never forget those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

As we look toward December, we carry that reminder with us, both now and in every year, day, hour, and minute to come.
