Students will begin with observational drawing before transitioning into painting, using direct observation as the foundation for building strong compositions. Inspired by the still-life works of Chardin, Morandi, Matisse, and Cézanne, the workshop explores drawing techniques, painting methods, and the relationships between color, value, and composition through a limited palette.
