Temecula Citizen Corps We meet the 3rd Tuesdays of the month at the above location at 6:30 pm for training. We want to keep our skills sharp.

The mission of TCC is to harness the power of every person through education, training, volunteer service to make Temecula safer, stronger, and better prepared to respond to the threats of terrorism, crime, public health issues and disasters of all kinds We meet 1st Tuesdays of the month at the above address at 7:00 pm for our Business Meeting where we plan out events, get volunteers, talk about

whatever is needed. Our meetings and training are always open. . We volunteer at safety fairs and teach fire extinguisher use on request to groups/businesses. We present CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training twice a year for adults and twice a year for teens. We have a simulated "disaster" field exercise every year. We look forward to more volunteers joining us.

2026 Theme and Focus Theme: "Americans Stand Ready"

Core Goal: Highlighting self-reliance, community resilience, and supporting first responders by taking proactive steps before emergencies happen.

Key Steps to Take:
Make a Plan: Decide how your household will communicate and reconnect if separated during an emergency. Establish out-of-area contacts and safe meeting places.
Build a Kit: Gather essential supplies including non-perishable food, water, medications, flashlights, and first-aid items for your home and evacuation go-bags.
Know Your Risks: Understand which disasters—such as wildfires, floods, or earthquakes—are most common in your local area.
Stay Informed: Sign up for local community alerts and warning systems.

The theme this year is: Americans Stand Ready

Americans stand ready to uphold our patriotic duty: When individuals are prepared and self-reliant, we can bolster the work our brave first responders do to help people on their worst day.

Americans stand ready to protect our family and friends: We know best how to keep our loved ones safe when things go wrong.

Americans stand ready to help our communities: Taking a proactive approach to get your community ready contributes to the nation’s resilience.

Temecula, we be at National Preparedness Fair on Saturday, September 5 at the Promenade Mall. We can help you get started with your preparedness. You can also come to our Meet and Greet on Monday, September 21 from 6:30 pm to 8:pm and find out all the interesting and important things that TCC does. These are great opportunities to encourage you to prepare and see if TCC is a good fit for you. Stay tuned.
