Rancho California Arabian Horse Association Dedicated to the promotion and welfare of the Arabian & Half Arabian Horse - Sport Horse

The Rancho California Arabian Horse Association originated in the early 1980's in Temecula Valley, starting with 15 members and has grown to over 250 adults and youth from San Diego to the South, to the Pacific Palisades to the west, to the high desert northward and east to Nevada and Arizona! Our members like to trail ride, horse camp, do endurance or competitive trail rides, making their horses

a part of the everyday family activity. Others are involved in the competitive aspect of the show ring in such disciplines as Dressage, Driving, English, Western, Reining, Hunter/Jumpers, Show Hack, Halter, and Sport Horse. Among all of the breeds, the Arabian is one whose loyalty grows the more time you spend with them. If your idea of quality time means connecting with a four-legged companion who can share your secrets and take you places that have been in your dreams, the Arabian horse is your perfect partner.

The Arabian Horse Association is proud to formally recognize and support the 2026 Canada’s National Arabian Championship, taking place August 6–15 in Brandon, Manitoba.

As one of the premier Arabian horse events in North America, this championship brings together Arabian and Half-Arabian horses, exhibitors, breeders, trainers, and enthusiasts from across Canada and the United States for ten days of world-class competition.

With all disciplines showcased under one roof, Canada’s National Arabian Championship continues to stand out as a cornerstone event - celebrating the athleticism, versatility, and enduring legacy of the Arabian horse.

Now in its fifth year under the management of the National Arabian Breed Society, the event reflects the strength of collaboration within our community and the shared commitment to advancing the future of the breed.

We extend our appreciation to the organizers, volunteers, and participants who make this championship possible and look forward to celebrating another remarkable year in Brandon.

AHA Animal Welfare & Membership Policy

At the heart of the Arabian horse community is a deep and abiding bond between people and horses. That relationship carries with it a profound responsibility, one the AHA Board of Directors takes seriously.

AHA membership is a privilege, and it must reflect the values we hold as a community. The Board has adopted the following policy to make clear that those who fail to uphold the basic standards of animal care and welfare have no place in our organization.

The Rancho California Horse Association, in conjunction with Region 2, is deeply saddened to announce the cancellation of our upcoming April 23-26th Spring Show in Paso Robles.

​This was an incredibly difficult decision to reach, and we share in the profound disappointment this brings to our community. We know how much effort goes into preparing for show season, and we feel that loss right alongside you. Ultimately, the cancellation stems from a lack of necessary support, driven by several contributing factors.

​As a small club, we must be protective of our resources to ensure our long-term survival. We refuse to compromise on the experience we provide; our priority isβ€”and always will beβ€”to host a high-quality show that our exhibitors deserve. To move forward under current conditions would put the preservation of our club at risk.
