Operation: Newborn

Operation: Newborn Operation: Newborn provides base and community resources to expecting parents at Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms.

Being far from family who would typically throw a shower, we hope to provide necessary items to ease the financial burden of new parenthood.

It’s that time again! Welcome to the 2nd Annual Operation Newborn! 👶🏻 We are local to the Temecula area and work to support our local military personnel at Camp Pendleton.

We strive to provide base and community resources to support expecting parents. So many of the new moms and dads are far from family who would typically throw a shower for the family. Operation Newborn will step in to “shower“ these new parents with gifts to ease the financial burden of new parenthood.

Participants are eligible if they are currently expecting. The regiment at Camp Pendleton has about 2000 personnel, and the need is great as there is an average of 35 to 40 babies born every year.

We are seeking donations to provide for these families through the end of April 2022. Items needed are:

Diapers
Wipes
Onesies
Pacifiers
Toys
Bottles
Baskets/Bins
Wash/Burp Cloths
Bibs
Receiving Blankets
Clothing (newborn up to 12 months)
Shoes (newborn up to 12 months)

We’re also looking for big ticket items to be raffled off:

Car Seats
Strollers
Pack n Play
Diaper Genie
Bathtubs
Bedding

In addition to donations, I’m also in need of volunteers to help with various aspects of the event.

Donations will be accepted through April 2022. We will hold a gathering at a private estate in Fallbrook on Friday, May 6th for all the new families.

Thank you for your interest and your donations. Help support those who support our country.

A huge "THANK YOU!" to everyone who donated towards Operation: Newborn! I so appreciate the responses and donations, and our local military families at Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms thank you! 🥰

Because of your generosity, we're able to support 25 families who will be welcoming 26 babies (one set of twins) very soon! That breakdown is 18 girls, 5 boys, and 3 who want to be surprised. 🧐 👶

Pictures to follow as we wrap up the final touches on our massive baby shower scheduled for Wednesday, May 12th. 🥳

Again, thank you to everyone who opened their hearts and made this possible. ❤️

We are just SIX WEEKS away from the 1st Annual Operation Newborn gathering! 😀 We're still in need of a few raffle items (car seats, strollers, swings, pack n play, Diaper Genie, etc.) but also still accepting all baby items. We also need bins and baskets to pack items in.

Please help our military families as they transition into becoming new moms and dads. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated! 🥳

We have just about 30 days left to collect items for new families at Camp Pendleton and 29 Palms.

Burlington Coat Factory is a great option as they have a TON of baby stuff and it's all very reasonably priced. With a $700 donation, I was able to purchase two car seats, a stroller, crib bedding, and tons of clothing!

Keep in mind we also need clothing and items not just for newborns but for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and 12 months.

Appreciate those who have already donated! Keep it coming!! 👶
