Just a few weeks after launching the St Joseph's Helpers 2026 Spring Ramp Appeal, our supporters have already contributed $15,890 toward our $25,000 goal!

https://givebutter.com/SpecialAppeal

We are incredibly grateful to every donor! Your generosity is already making a difference. Once we reach our $25,000 fundraising goal, a matching donor will double every dollar raised, turning it into $50,000 to help us continue our Ramp Program!

The Ramps we've installed have been important in helping our clients safely leave home so they can attend medical appointments, visit family, participate in their community, and maintain their independence! Their fears and stress have been greatly relieved because they don't have to fear falling down their steps anymore.

We're just $9,110 away from unlocking the full $50,000 impact! Please consider donating today and help us cross that finish line! Thank you to everyone who has contributed. We are proud of our community of supporters and ever grateful for your support!

The lovely Miss R reached out to St. Joseph’s Helpers for assistance with the steps leading to her basement. What began as a request for a handrail revealed a larger safety concern. The landing and stairs were old, cracked, unsteady, and in need of significant repair.

Field volunteers Mark T, Greg, Mark H, and Chris stepped in to help. Together, they raised, leveled, & reinforced the door landing, rebuilt and braced 7 basement steps, and installed a sturdy handrail for Miss R to use.

Thanks to their hard work and craftsmanship, Miss R now has a safe and stable staircase she can confidently use every day.

Our Kentucky volunteers never fail to impress with their dedication to helping out their community members! St Joseph’s Helpers field volunteers Marty and Mike installed 2 grab bars, and help lower a shower wand onto a hook for Miss M.

This project is a wonderful example of what can happen when a community comes together. Marty knew Miss M. personally, and while he & Mike completed the actual repair, Missy from Cathedral of Christ the King helped coordinate with Miss M. Thanks to a generous gift card donation, Marty was also able to purchase the grab bars needed for the project. Great work everyone!

Join volunteers like Marty and Mike and become part of the St. Joseph’s Helpers community! Visit sjhelpers.org/become-a-volunteer to learn more and sign up today!
