Foundation board member Rhonda Danaj had the pleasure of giving a grant check to Randall Elementary teacher Lynn Jimenez. The funds will cover a project called “Writing In Many Different Ways”.

When you care about our Taylor students and come to our events like Dueling Pianos later this fall, your dollars go directly into the schools to help. Thank you!

Foundation grants allow teachers and other district staff to offer programs to enhance learning and enrichment for our students.

Vanessa McLean at West Middle School was awarded a check to underwrite the production of “James and the Giant Peach”.

We were busy giving away grants this spring! Thanks to your support, the foundation was able to support Voice of Harmony at Taylor High School.
Principal Melissa Skopczynski accepted the award.

Congratulations to Taylor Parks teacher Jay Josefosky. His classroom got a grant from the foundation this spring for a “science-palooza” event.

One of the most rewarding days board members and volunteers of the Foundation have each year is when we interview applicants for scholarships.

Here’s two of the many graduating students who applied and talked to the panel this spring.

It’s very inspiring to meet all the students and we wish them all the best!

The TPSEF hosted an English Tea at the CB Cafe, the culinary arts program at the Taylor Career Center. It was an thank you to district administration and school staff who helped promote us throughout the school year. The students served an excellent tea!

The second annual Wall Of Fame dinner was a smashing success. Guests enjoyed music by the very talented Hoover Middle School Jazz Band and great food at the Lakes of Taylor. 2026 inductees Caroline Patts and Ken Nelson accepted their honors with heartfelt speeches. Last year’s inaugural inductees were presented with their wall of fame plaques. Watch for details of next years gala!
