Bridges Project Bridges provides free, comprehensive admissions and financial aid counseling for students of all ages. http://www.bridgesproject.org

Bridges provides free, comprehensive college and financial aid counseling to students of all ages. Since 1997, we’ve worked with over 3,000 students and their families, helping them research and apply to colleges and vocational programs, and locate financial aid and scholarships. Although we serve our entire community, our central focus is addressing the structural barriers that first-generation s

tudents are faced with when accessing post-secondary education. We support school guidance counselors who have large caseloads and can't spend as much time as they would like on college advisement. We educate parents and community members by hosting an annual college fair, financial aid workshops, and alumni panels. Additionally, we partner with local youth agencies and detention centers to help them meet their clients’ higher educational goals.

We were thrilled to welcome 12 colleges from across the country to Taos High School and Peñasco High School last week! Students explored college “fit” and affordability in small-group workshops with college admissions representatives and got to learn about the schools at a college fair. Thank you to for organizing this event! And huge thank you to the colleges for visiting our students!
