Lucky for you, we have so many cats and kittens at the village square Petco habitats ready to go home today. All of these guys and gals are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccines, microchipped, and ready to break out of Petco and into your home.

We had a great turn out at yesterday’s adoption event despite all the rain the past few days. ☔️

Yesterday we said goodbye to Damon, Lulu & Dexter (together), Sebastian, Cypress, Cookie & Ivan. Since our last adoption event, we also found homes for Delilah, Sunny, Thornton, Ryder, and Maggie, Rocky Ray, and Chaz. We also accepted a deposit for Mimeux.

We hope everyone is safe and enjoying the rest of the weekend. Happy tails to our new families and we will see you all next week! 💜

ITS ADOPTION DAY! 🍂

We know it’s rainy, wet, and gross outside. Luckily, it is beautiful inside our adoption event at Petco (1380 village square blvd, Tallahassee, FL).

Adopting a kitten will keep you company during the bad weather, and we think we have the kitten for you! Come see Teeter, and so many other adoptable babies.

Introducing Dexter! 👻

This skinny little slinker is smart, funny, and very talkative. He’ll call for you from the other room, then come galloping when he hears you. Dexter loves head kisses and is always so happy to see you. He loves to sleep and snuggle on top of his people, it’s his happy place!

Meet Lulu, the tiny princess! 👑

She’s incredibly smart, dainty, pretty, and wonderfully gentle. Lulu enjoys the finer things in life like treats, sleeping in, relaxing on the sofa. Lulu adores cuddling and curling up in your lap, and her tiny little “mew” will melt your heart. She loves her brothers and foster brothers, and of course, it’s Lulu’s world, we’re all just living in it.

Meet the frat bro kittens! 🤪

These three 3.5 month old boys are the sweetest, most playful, friendly kittens. They are always up to something but also love to snuggle. Bobby is very chatty and loves to rub his head on yours. He's is super cuddly, wants to be attach to you at all times. Martin is the more reserved one of the three. He loves to sleep in the sink and mess with his brothers. He is the sweetest guy with the softest coat. And finally Billy! This orange guy is a full orange kitten. He loves to play and mess with his little brothers but he also sleeps so hard!

Meet Olive! 🫒

This sweet 14 week old girl is searching for her forever home. Olive is a special needs kitten because she has limited vision in one eye, and the other was surgically removed due to injury. But her lack of sight does not slow her down one bit!

Olive loves to play with toys, especially string toys! She will play hard and will purr while doing it. She sometimes tries to nibble on your toes if you don’t have socks on, so an all sock household is perfect for her. Despite her past, Olive is such a lover. Cuddles and purrs are her favorite, and she loves to be snuggled on your lap.

Jagger and Pepper are making their adoption event debut in three days! 👀

5 month old brothers Pepper and Jagger are the sweetest bundles of energy! They get along wonderfully, and when they've had their fill of playtime, they love to just chill in the living room with you and some TV or calm music. They settle in quickly and are extremely loving and social with their family, and would do great in any home that can keep them entertained with lots of active play and snuggles.

Pepper is the mischievous brother. He's a great jumper, very smart, and more than anything, he demands to be the center of attention- cradle him like a baby or even let him ride around standing on your shoulder, as long as you know he calls the shots!

Jagger has an adorable silly face and even sillier mind. He will climb in your lap and demand pets. He likes to play by quickly chasing a moving target, and sometimes he'll even bring a toy up for you to toss and play fetch!

Let’s talk black cats 🐈‍⬛

A lot of shelters put a pause on adopting black cats this month, but we do not. Despite the Halloween myths, there is no documented evidence of widespread criminal activity involving black cats in modern times. October can be a great time for black cats to find homes because they receive extra attention and visibility. Black cats can be overlooked at other times of the year, and delaying their adoption only means they spend longer waiting for a family. As these kittens grow, it becomes more difficult to find their homes.

As with every adoption, we carefully screen applicants and require a $100 adoption fee. People planning to harm cats during October are typically not paying fees to adopt. Our cats are placed with people who are committed to providing them with safe, loving, lifelong homes, not as Halloween props.

Black cats deserve homes in October too and we ensure all our kittens are safe and loved. 🧡

We know kittens are adorable… but Novela is just as perfect as a baby kitten! 🐱

At 1 year young, Novela is looking for her forever home. Everyone who meets this sweet girl instantly falls in love with her. Quite honestly, we don’t know how our Petco habitat team hasn’t stolen her! She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! Novela loves to be held and will chill in your arms all day. She is just a baby at heart, looking for a family.
