💄💋🪞 Another great cause to support here in Tallahassee: The Common Ground Closet! Beyond the Pantry is proud to have made a donation of makeup, body, and beauty supplies to help support community members in need in Tallahassee.

🌈 About Common Ground Closet: Centering Trans Joy in Tallahassee, Florida. Common Ground Closet is a free, gender affirming closet and resource hub for LGBTQ+ individuals in Tallahassee, Florida. Along with offering free gender-affirming clothing, makeup, and toiletries at our physical location, they use donation-based funding to provide necessities like binders and tucking garments to trans folks in our community who would otherwise be unable to access them. They also provide trans folks in the Tallahassee area and beyond with information on resources and organizations for trans people, tips for finding gender euphoria, and a growing list of trans-friendly businesses in the Tallahassee area.

💄 We put every donated health and hygiene supply to good use, including donated new-and-unused makeup, body care, and beauty supplies. Thanks to our donors who help make contributions like this possible!

😄 Thanks to our donors who helped make another substantial contribution of hygiene supplies and socks possible, supporting Soul Food!

Soul Food is a mission to support those in need at Lake Ella with food and everyday living supplies.

From St. Paul's UMC: "SOUL FOOD is a mission to the homeless in our community. There is a monthly distribution of food and clothing the last Saturday of each month. Items are collected throughout the month in the church office or bins in Sanders Hall. Trucks are loaded with your donations and delivered across the lake to the homeless community. In addition, we serve a hot evening meal one each month."

So glad to support a cause like this!

🧼 Another large donation made to The Oasis Center for Women & Girls! This month, BTP donated a haul of full-size hygiene supples, diapers, and menstrual products worth over $250, helping families in need by helping stock Oasis' hygiene supply shelf.

Founded in 2007, The Oasis Center was created to be a community resource center for women and girls to come together, dream, achieve, and thrive. The Oasis Center was created with the vision of being a diverse environment where women and girls from all walks of life are connected and empowered. Oasis aims to be the central resource meeting women where they are to equip them with the tools to reach their goals, and celebrate with them as they progress on their journey.

🙏 It's easy to support such a worthy cause. Thanks to the generous support of our donors and all-volunteer team who make it all possible! To learn how to get involved, check the link in bio or message us!
