I wanted to remind everyone of our upcoming athletic events for ASD.

This week-
10/22
Senior Night for the football players and cheerleaders.
Senior recognition begins at 6:30 pm.
Football game begins at 7:00 pm (vs. Lakeside Christian).

Next week-
10/27-10/30 Homecoming week
(Flyer for approved dress-up days attached)

10/22
Volleyball team vs. Staff 1:30 pm (Hackney Gym)
Volleyball team vs. Football team 2:00 pm (Hackney Gym)
*This is in place of volleyball not having a senior night due to the opposing school having to cancel the game.

HOMECOMING DAY!
1:00 pm - Parade begins
3:30 pm - Football game begins (vs. South Carolina School for the Deaf)

-It's that time! Bama Classic time! Mark your calendars!
ASD will be hosting its annual Bama Classic Basketball Tournament on December 11 & 12, 2026.
Attending schools are; Alabama, Illinois, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.
We are so excited to host this event again this year and are looking forward to a great time!

Alabama School for the Deaf's (ASD) cross country team is a proud recipient of a Brooks Running, Inc., Grant! Brooks Running gives this grant in support of high school cross country and track and field programs across the country. Through the Future Run Team Grants Program, more than 300 high schools have already received over $4 million in gear and financial support.

ASD cross country team students received:

· Shoes and running apparel for all team members

· A $1,000 cash stipend to support program needs such as meet entry fees, transportation, or pay-to-play costs
