Thank you so much to everyone who made the AIDB: โ€˜Come Play at the Clubโ€™ Fundraiser a huge success! The event was hosted by the AIDB Foundation and the Caring Foundation of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama. ๐Ÿ’™

We had approximately 200 guests join us for the event and $219,645 was raised! ๐ŸŽ‰

AIDB students performed on stage with Alie B. Gorie-Cook and The Eric Essix Trio throughout the evening. Other AIDB students partnered with celebrity artists to create masterpieces that were auctioned off after dinner. ๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ–Œ

The event was emceed by Mr. Chad Jones, a member of the AIDB Foundation and guest speakers were AIDB President Dennis Gilliam and House of Representative District #44, Mr. Danny Garrett. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

The Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) invites eligible students to attend tuition-free, overnight 2026 Summer Enrichment Camp at the Alabama School for the Blind (ASB) or the Alabama School for the Deaf (ASD).

Each of these camps are designed to provide participants with engaging, meaningful experiences that combine recreation, enriching academics, creative arts, and fun field trips in a supportive and inclusive environment.

๐Ÿ• Who Can Attend
-Rising 1stโ€“12th grade students who are deaf, blind, hard of hearing or visually impaired.
-Students who do not currently attend ASB or ASD.
