We've had a great curling season in Talkeetna! This might be our longest season so far!

Looking at the forecast, after this weekend our days will be sunny and warm. Great for sunbathing, not great for curling.

Chris plans on prepping a sheet or two on Sunday for our regular curling session. The Sunday session may begin a little late, depending on the ice temperature. We would hate to ruin, what may be, our last weekend of the season by stressing the ice surface.

A special thanks to those folks that have jumped in with both feet this year. Some new participants and some returning curlers. We hope to continue to grow the curling community in Talkeetna! Cheer! Salud! Kanpai! Prost! Etc.

Here is a snapshot (or 6) of the work it takes to prepare our ice, every week! Without the hard work of our ice tech, and dedicated volunteers, ice sports in Talkeetna would not be what they are today.
