Thank you Talkeetna Bachelor Society for supporting Talkeetna Youth Hockey!! With this grant, we were able to cover ALL scholarship requests for the 2026 season and make sure our coaches are up to date on background checks. Your support helps us to "Keep kids out of hot water, put them on ice!" 🏒🥅💙

UPDATED ICE REPORT!! ❄️⛸🏒🥌🌬 The ice at Jack MacDonald Ice Rink at Talkeetna Elementary is repaired an OPEN for skating! Thank you to our amazing ice crew for working overtime after the warm weather! Youth hockey practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays and curling meets on Mondays and Wednesdays. Otherwise, the rink is available for public use, free of charge! ICE REPORT!! ❄️⛸🏒🥌🌬 The ice at Jack MacDonald Ice Rink at Talkeetna Elementary School remains closed through Tuesday, January 14, and there will be no youth hockey practice. Weather permitting, the ice will reopen for curling on Wednesday evening, January 15, and then will remain open for skating and hockey. Talkeetna Youth Hockey Association thanks the community for their patience and understanding as the warm weather damage to the ice is repaired!
