Heads up, Eastside Pool friends: we’re adding more lap swim opportunities 🏊We’ve heard from community members who want more time and space for lap swim, and we’re making a gradual effort to bring back more shared pool use where we can.

Because Eastside Pool has four lanes total, lane space will still be limited and shared with swim lessons. During some times, at least two lanes will be available for lap swim while the other lanes are used for lessons and youth programming.

Thirsty Dog Run is taking over Titlow Park on Saturday, Sept. 5, and we’ll have a whole pack of pet resources, local businesses and treats from our friends Mustard & Mischief , Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency , Pet Butler , VEG ER for Pets , BarkWell Pet , and HolyCowCritters.

Then celebrate your 2.4 miles with a root beer float! 🥤 Souvenir cups are available as an add-on during registration, but only 72 are available: once they’re gone, they’re gone.

The circus is back! Venardos Circus, a Broadway-style animal-free circus, has returned to Point Defiance Park. The show runs from August 20 to September 7 in the iconic red-and-white striped tent.

It's time to get in the game! Volleyball and Soccer registration is open now. Leagues are designed for all skill levels to make sports accessible and fun for every child. Practices begin September 28, games begin Oct 3.
