Last night, the Brothers of the Iota Mu Lambda chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. gathered in fellowship and celebration at Ms. Jane’s Steakhouse in Fife to honor the founding of our beloved fraternity.

With 20 Brothers in attendance, including the chapter’s two newest initiates, the evening was filled with brotherhood, reflection, and gratitude for the legacy established by the Seven Jewels on December 4, 1906.

The atmosphere was warm and uplifting as Brothers shared stories, embraced one another, and reaffirmed their commitment to scholarship, leadership, and service. The presence of the neophytes added a special energy to the gathering, symbolizing the continued growth, strength, and future of the chapter.

From heartfelt conversations to moments of laughter around the table, the celebration reflected the true spirit of Alpha: unity, excellence, and love for all mankind.

The Brothers of the Iota Mu Lambda chapter and Golden Futures Foundation is excited to announce our 2025 Joseph C. Peyton Scholarship. We will be awarding five $1,000 this year to well deserving African American seniors graduating from a high school in the Tacoma/Greater Pierce County area. Application deadline is April 5, 2025. 🎉 Celebrating a New Beginning 🎉

Yesterday marked a special milestone as our Brother began his journey as the pastoral elect at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. With heartfelt wisdom, he delivered an inspiring sermon on how to have a good year in 2025.

We are blessed to witness this new chapter as he transitions to doing the Lord’s work at Mount Calvary Baptist Church. Here’s to a future filled with faith, growth, and community. Let’s support and uplift him as he leads with grace and vision. 🙏🏾
