Dear friends, as many of you know, we have been involved with our administrator, Wandera’s God’s Grace orphanage. To reiterate, wishing to become self-sufficient he came up with the idea of raising money to erect a hen house to not only feed the children and pay for their education, but also enable him to build a new orphanage on his own land. We were so impressed with his selflessness and dedication that we were moved to help by personally covering the shortfall for the project and purchasing the land from a small inheritance Craig received. All was going well, until his landlord announced that he wanted the land and buildings that Wandera was renting back because his family was returning to the area, giving him notice to be out by November 1st. This added a new level of urgency in finding temporary housing for 40 orphans.
However, like so many times Divine Providence intervened in the form of the Seeds of Compassion Movement. The true beauty of this movement is it only requires us to share our innate compassion for vulnerable children and endangered animals by adding our name (doesn’t have to be our real name) and energy to the map by donating just $1. This action registers our commitment to sow our seed, which energizes the building of the orphanage, encouraging forgiveness, love and peace to grow exponentially.
Obviously, I am speaking of energy and the power of intent, which I know my friends are fully aware of. To this end, I ask that you help us build this movement, by not only helping us turn this map of beige apathy to vibrant green flooding the world with compassion, but also by adding your name and figuratively planting your seed. You can also help by sharing this with as many people as possible.
In our map, Uganda is singled out in golden yellow, signifying that it is the focus to spread the transformative power of compassionate love, empathy and forgiveness throughout the world. Here this color represents the many loving caring souls who have generously supported Wandera and the children, who we cannot recognize because we don’t have a name and or location.
