Variety Child Learning Center’s annual Boo! Walk was a day of great fun and festivities, raising more than $80,000 to support our programs and services. Held on Sunday, October 4, at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park, the walk was filled with music, snacks, games, a costume contest with prizes and activities for children and their families. 🎃

The Boo! Walk was also an opportunity to recognize our three exceptional student honorees for personal growth and academic achievement, all of whom received special citations from the Town of Oyster Bay. 🌟

Variety extends our sincere appreciation to the event’s major sponsors, including The Paul L. Martin Charitable Trust; Jerrick Associates, Inc.; Suffolk Credit Union; Scott Berfas of Newmark; HUB: Ruth Stearn & Family; Jaspan Schlesinger Narendran LLP and more. We would also like to thank everyone who participated – families, staff, community members and volunteers. We couldn’t have done this without you! 🧡

🍁🎃 Fall Literacy Fun! 🍂📚

VCLC students had so much fun at our Fall Literacy Event across our Levittown campuses! Our little learners enjoyed listening to a fall-themed story, creating adorable fall crafts, and dancing and moving along to some festive fall songs!

The highlight of the day was our special pumpkin patch! 🎃 Each child had to search through the pumpkin patch to find the picture that matched their own, leading them to their very special pumpkin to take home!

A huge shout-out and thank you to our amazing Creative Arts Department for putting together such a wonderful, well-organized, and engaging event! The children had so much fun, and it was a perfect way to celebrate the fall season while incorporating literacy, movement, creativity, and a little pumpkin-picking magic! 🍁🧡

👾🎃 Monster Mash at Bellerose! 🎃👾

Our UPK and Integrated UPK classes teamed up to create their very own colorful, creative monsters and bring our Monster Mash Mural to life! The students had a spooktacular time using their imaginations and expressing their creativity. We love seeing our Bellerose students work together to create something so monstrously amazing! 💚💜

🍂🎃 Fall Fun Is in Full Swing! It’s been such a fun start to the fall season at Variety!

Our students at Sparke have been busy exploring their five senses, learning their letters, and strengthening their fine motor skills through hands-on activities!

Over at Karopczyc, our little learners have also been hard at work developing their fine motor skills while getting into the Halloween spirit by disguising their ghosts so they won't be so spooky! 👻

Our hallways are coming to life with beautiful, creative bulletin boards, and even our social worker is joining in on the fun with social-emotional scavenger hunts!

We love seeing the creativity, learning, and excitement happening throughout our classrooms! 🍁🧡

🍂 Fall Leaf Exploration at Bellerose! 🍁

Our students enjoyed exploring the beauty of fall. They identified leaves in different colors and used their senses to explore and describe the different textures. It was a fun, hands-on way to learn about the changing season! 🌿
