Nestled in the middle of the Nicolet National Forest in northeastern Wisconsin, Bear Paw Scout Camp sits on 317 acres of wilderness.

Today was our last full day at camp 😭. We had a busy day from sun-up to sun-down. Open swim, visiting all the creatures at the nature center, learning about bees, sharing another tin of canned fish, playing twister on the climbing wall, cashing in on the previous Scoutmaster’s offer to buy ice cream, cleaning up the campsite, the final night’s flags and fire followed by the Order of the Arrow call-out ceremony.

Back home tomorrow!

Day 5 at Bear Paw Scout Camp! Started out with our troop’s tradition of canned fish. We LOVE our canned fish 🤣😆. Scouts finished up merit badges and took advantage of open programming for fun and extra practice at the ranges. We cooked our dinner at our site, enjoyed s’mores and concluded the night with karaoke.

It was another beautiful and productive day at camp!

Leader’s Log Day 4:
Today started with that liquid sunshine we had been warned about. However, the Scout spirit was still strong. After a hearty breakfast of biscuits and gravy, merit badge work continued. During open programming a few Scouts enjoyed some time in the lake despite the cloudy weather and cooler temps. All the staff here are wonderful, but we especially love seeing those from our own T9040 throughout the day!
