🍽️ Service Above Self in Action 🍽️

The Rotary Club of Swarthmore is proud to partner with Swarthmore Presbyterian Church to support Chester Eastside's Open Table meal program.

In 2026, Rotary volunteers will help staff three Saturday meal services, working alongside community partners to provide a welcoming and nutritious meal to anyone in need.

Chester Eastside has been a vital resource for children and families for decades, providing hunger relief, educational opportunities, and a safe, supportive environment for community members of all ages. We are grateful to Swarthmore Presbyterian Church, whose members have supported this important ministry for years and began staffing Saturday Open Table meals in 2025.

At Rotary, we believe that small acts of service can make a big difference. Sharing a meal is about more than foodβ€”it's about dignity, connection, and community.

Interested in making an impact in our community? Join us and learn how Rotary turns caring into action.

πŸ’ΌπŸŒŸ **Thank You, Swarthmore Merchants & Community Partners!** πŸŒŸπŸ’Ό

The **Rotary Club of Swarthmore** would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the incredible Swarthmore merchants and community partners who participated in this year’s **World of Work** program on May 8!

Each year, Rotarians accompany small groups of **Swarthmore-Rutledge School District** 5th graders through Town Center, where students meet local business owners and professionals to learn firsthand what it takes to run a business, serve the community, and build a career.

From shop owners and restaurateurs to public servants and entrepreneurs, our students gained valuable insight into the many paths their futures could take.

These lucky students (pictured here πŸ“Έ) had the opportunity to explore the fascinating world of **law enforcement** and learn more about careers dedicated to public safety and community service.

Programs like World of Work help inspire curiosity, confidence, and connection between young people and the community around themβ€”and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make the day meaningful and memorable. πŸ’™
