The mission of RedBird, founded in Summerville,SC in 2018,is to create a community-based support system for individuals & families affected by the opioid crisis, crisis in general, and homelessness in the tricounty area and beyond. The Red Bird Foundation was founded in 2019 as a Boots-On-The-Ground Emergency Service to help those affected by the opioid crisis, the homeless, and those in desperate

need. We offer crisis drug counseling and handle crises over the phone. Through our website we offer direct boots-on-the-ground assistance connecting people with urgent needs to local donors and volunteers. 100% of funds raised through our fundraisers go directly to those in need, with very little and often no funds going towards operating costs.

A domestic violence survivor and her baby have finally found a place to call home!!!! They need furnishings like a kitchen table, chairs, a sofa, and a dresser. RedBird has been with her from the start of her courageous journey. She is located in North Charleston near the Air Force Base. If anyone can help with furniture or delivery, please reach out! Gently used items are very much welcome!
