Last Thursday’s Fort Bend Interfaith Dinner Dialogue was a beautiful reminder of what our community can achieve when all faiths come together with openness and respect.

We created new milestones - blessed to have 11 faith traditions, 22 congregations and organizations and 150 faith representatives from — Bahá’í, Buddhist / Meditation, Christian (5 denominations), Hindu, Ismaili, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Sikh, Unitarian Universalist and Zoroastrian faiths.

Seeing leaders and friends from so many faiths share a meal, exchange stories, and build new friendships truly reflected the spirit of Fort Bend - the most diverse county in USA.

The conversations were heartfelt, the energy was joyful, and the unity in the room was inspiring. These photos capture the joy of a community that chooses dialogue over distance.

A heartfelt thank you to the Vadtal Dham Shree Swaminarayan Hindu Temple Board and volunteers for opening your sacred space and creating a historic milestone: The first Interfaith Dinner Dialogue ever hosted inside a Hindu temple in Fort Bend. Your hospitality and leadership made this gathering truly memorable.

May these pictures remind us that when faith communities stand together, peace becomes possible and community becomes stronger.

As our Muslim friends and neighbors begin Ramadan today, we want to extend our warmest wishes for a month filled with peace, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

Ramadan is a sacred time of fasting, prayer, and community, emphasizing values that resonate across all faith traditions—devotion, self-discipline, gratitude, and generosity. It is also a time of deepening one’s faith and strengthening bonds with family, friends, and the broader community.

To our Muslim brothers and sisters, we honor and celebrate this holy season with you. May this Ramadan be a time of abundant blessings, personal growth, and meaningful connection.

Ramadan Mubarak!
