Throughout his career, Quenton recognized a growing need for expert guidance in commercial real estate among local businesses. After years of collaborating with established commercial brokers to serve his clients, he founded The Rockwell Commercial Group in 2020 to provide specialized solutions tailored to their needs.

Quenton is a dedicated leader in the real estate industry, currently serving on the Houston Association of REALTORS® (HAR) Board of Directors' Executive Committee and multiple HAR advisory groups. He is also a Board Director for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and a Regional Vice President for Texas REALTORS® as well as serves on the Texas REALTORS® Commercial Committee. In addition, Quenton was named President of the Commercial Real Estate Network (CREN) Gulf Coast and will be serving as the Immediate Past President starting in 2027. In 2017, Quenton was also recognized as one of HAR's Young Professionals Network's "20 Under 40" Rising Stars in Real Estate.

We are thrilled to introduce and thank Russell Simmons from Texas Area Properties for being a panelist at our first-ever Commercial Panel event coming up! Your support truly helps make this celebration possible, and we sincerely appreciate your commitment to our community.

Russell Simmons was born and raised in Houston, Texas and has had a passion for real estate since buying his first property as a teenager, becoming a real estate agent in 1981 at 21 years old and running his own brokerage firm Texas Area Properties since 1993.

Russell as an investor has renovated, owned and operated more than 500 units of houses, warehouses, offices and apartments in the Houston area while simultaneously helping his clients build their own solid portfolios. Russell spends most of his time managing his portfolio, helping clients evaluate and purchase commercial properties as investments or operating their company’s real estate needs. Russell also enjoys mentoring young agents and investors on how to build a solid real estate portfolio that is diversified and can withstand the market fluctuations over a long period of time.

Russell is currently on the HAR board of directors, HAR Commgate Board, and is a TR Texas Realtors director. Russell and his wife Jene have been married for 40 years and work together building new homes, renovating historical properties in the Houston market, managing their commercial portfolio and in the past 5 years developing a passion for renovating ranches in west Texas.
