Before you apply to adopt a dog, please be sure you read the following:

All applicants must 21 years of age or older. For your safety Poodle Rescue of New England can not place a poodle in a home with children under the age of 10. Poodle Rescue of New England will not place a poodle in a home with electric/invisible fencing. Applicants either own their home or have written permission from their l

andlord to own a dog. Applicants are willing to spend anywhere between $45-$100+ (depending on the size) every 6-8 weeks for grooming. Applicants are willing to to make a lifelong commitment to love and care for their adopted dog. We require a home visit and reference checks for all applications prior to meeting a dog. We adopt ONLY within the New England area (Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island Connecticut and Maine).

Snoopy is a sweet 4 year old, 35 pound Aussiedoodle who is looking for a new home because his owner can no long keep him.

Snoopy is very playful and gets along well with other dogs. He has never been around cats, so we don't know how he would be with them. He is neutered and housetrained and up-to-date on his rabies vaccine.

Snoopy is used to a fenced in yard. He has not had a lot of experience walking on a leash, but would probably do well with practice. He is a little skittish at first, but warms up very quickly and enjoys getting attention. He is fine being left at home alone while his people work, but would prefer to have someone home with him during the day if possible.

An ideal home for Snoopy would be with a family with older children, as well as a fenced in yard where he can run and play with the kids and/or another dog. He is in the VT/NH area. References are required and a fee will be applied as a donation to Poodle Rescue of New England.

Bagel is an affectionate 6 year old Aussiedoodle who weighs about 45 pounds. He is looking for a new home because his owner can no longer keep him.

Bagel is neutered and housebroken. He is friendly and enjoys playing with other dogs. We are unsure how he is with cats. He is a lovable boy who is eager to please and would benefit from some training to make him a well-mannered companion. He is used a fenced in yard so he doesn't have a lot of experience with walking on a leash yet. He rides well in the car and eats his meals in his crate. Bagel is fine being left at home while his people work, but would love it if someone was around during the day to give him extra attention.

An ideal home for Bagel would be with an active family with older children, a fenced in yard and another playful dog in the house or neighborhood. He is located in the NH/VT area. References are required and a fee will be applied as a donation to Poodle Rescue of New England.

ADOPTED!!
Abby is a 6 month old, 10 pound spayed female miniature poodle who came into Poodle Rescue because her owner was no longer able to care for her. She is a sweet girl who loves to play, go for walks, and rides well in the car. She gets along well with other dogs (but sometimes tries to steal their toys) and is also friendly with cats. Abby is super lovable and enjoys cuddling and giving lots of kisses. She will need help with housebreaking and is making great progress with her leash skills. Abby would do best in a home with a fenced yard for her to explore and run her zoomie laps. She is up to date on all vaccines and ready to find her forever home.
