Bernie is a 3 year old Bernedoodle (Bernese Mountain Dog & Poodle Mix) from a reputable breeder in upstate New York. He is neutered, up to date on all his vaccines and a healthy dog. He weighs 85 pounds and requires regular grooming every 8 weeks. He does not shed at all and is hypoallergenic!

He is currently being fostered after his family could no longer care for him due to an unexpected health problem that arose this past summer. Unfortunately they could no longer care for him and needed to focus on their recovery as it took a mental and financial toll on the family.

Bernie is a very active boy and he loves to run around a fenced in yard, go for long walks and also enjoys hiking! He loves to play with other dogs and would do best with young dogs around his size as he tends to rough house and play chase. He would do well with an active family or a family with active dogs that like to play to let his energy out.

He is very affectionate and sweet and loves to be with people. He loves to be pet, have his ears scratched and his belly rubbed! He does like to snuggle and he also like to take his space and curl up on his bed.

Bernie also loves kids but would do best with kids old enough to know to respect his space and his belongings.

Bernie has not been around cats so we are not sure how he would do in a home with cats.

Pearl is a sweet, 6-year-old Bernedoodle weighing approximately 70 pounds. She loves being around her people and is happiest when she feels safe, comfortable, and included in the family.
Pearl can be an anxious dog, so she does best with a patient and understanding family that can give her consistency, reassurance, and plenty of love. Once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality really shines through.
Pearl also has Addison’s disease, which is currently well managed with 2.5 mg of prednisone once a day. Her medication is part of her daily routine, and she has a family who is familiar with her condition and happy to provide information and guidance to her new family.
Pearl is looking for a loving home where she can be part of the family, receive the attention and patience she deserves, and continue to be happy and well cared for. Located in southern Maine.
