We believe Scouting has always been promoting a "well-rounded" approach to personal growth. Maybe the "soft-skills" Scouts practice should be more highlighted a little more in our programs?

Technical skills can be learned in a few weeks. But soft skills like leadership and teamwork? Acquiring those takes the kind of immersion found in Scouting.

New to Cub Scouting or did a growth spurt this summer outpace your uniform shirt? It might be a good time to get a uniform shirt with a little more "elbow room" and save some cash. A Scout is Thrifty!

Beginning Aug. 19, the Scout Shop is offering a not-to-be-missed sale on uniforms for all Boy Scouts of America programs.

Each Scout or recruit will be assigned a Regiment and rotate through the various activity stations throughout the day. Stations include British & American encampments, Field Hospital, Dragoon demonstration and of course manual of arms with Marching. The fun filled day concludes with one of the largest marshmallow fights we've ever seen.

Our Pack Meeting's theme was Grateful this month. Our Scouts shared "Who is worth more to you than gold".

Our Bear Den worked pretty hard putting together a carnival for the rest of the Pack. Nice job Scouts!! A fun night was had by all.

Lookout General John Nixon Elementary School Kindergartners - the Lion program is a go!!

Starting in the fall of 2018, Lion will join Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos as an official rank in the Cub Scout program.
