Today, we recognize and celebrate Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans.

At United Way of Door County, we believe strong communities are built when everyone has the opportunity to thrive. As we reflect on our nation's history, we also recommit ourselves to creating a community where every person has access to opportunity, resources, and support.
